Center Riggers

The Center Rigger has proven to be an effective tool when trolling. It should be the highest outrigger when the others are deployed in the fishing position. Its line runs straight down the middle with its bait being the farthest back. The Center Rigger bait, more often than not, is the one struck after the other baits have streamed by.

AL7001CR

The AL7001CR (1-3/8"ID) is the solution for boats with a tower or when a lower angle is desired. It has a slightly larger footprint (4"x 7"). Ruggedly constructed from marine grade anodized aluminum. It can be easily attached above or below the standing platform or any flat surface. It comes in a standard angle of 22 degrees that gives it a low rise. Anodized in Bright Silver it is as strong as it is attractive. It accepts all the same poles as the AL7000 series holders.

The MX7211CR (1 1/2"ID) is the perfect holder for boats in the 16 to 31 ft range. Its economical price and small footprint (3"x 5") make it our most popular center rigger holder. The receiving tube of this marine grade anodized holder is set at a 45 degree angle. This is the perfect angle for boats where the mounting position is low and the cockpit is not extremely deep (e.g. mounting on T-Tops, Hard Tops, or Fly-Bridges).

The AL7300 (1-3/8"ID) series of Clamp-On Center Rigger Holders are available to fit standard size Schedule 40 Aluminum Pipe. Easy installation and unobtrusive design make this a popular installation where a horizontal pipe is available. This holder can also be used for other applications. AL7000CR, MX7000CR & MX8000CR

Our Adjustable Angle holders AL7000CR (1-3/8" ID), MX7000CR (1-1/2" ID) and MX8000CR (1-5/8" ID) are our strongest and most versatile holders. The three point mounting distributes the stress and provides side support. This heavy duty unit allows you to set your outrigger angle for maximum efficiency. The angle is set by positioning the clamp on the main tube during installation. The main tube of this unit is designed to accept the outrigger in either end so the holder can be mounted above or below any flat surface. A fast pin can be substituted for the bolt connecting the clamp to the wing for bridge lay down capability. Approximate area required for mounting is 14-1/2" x 18".
